Prof. Yoav Gronovich is the Head of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In addition, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Business Administration and an MBA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Prof. Gronovich completed his residency in Plastic Surgery at Shaare Zedek Medical Center and later pursued advanced training at the University of Miami in Florida in both reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery, including facial and neck surgery, body contouring, the use of fat grafting and stem cells for tissue reconstruction, and advanced scar treatment.
Prof. Gronovich is a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He serves on the faculty’s teaching committee, participates in the medical school admissions committee, and serves as an examiner in final surgical examinations.
He places great importance on integrating clinical and surgical work with academic and clinical research. Prof. Gronovich has authored dozens of medical publications, developed surgical techniques and medical devices, and lectures at international conferences in the fields of plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery.
He is an active member of the Israeli Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
